Adrian joined our team in February 2018, further strengthening our expertise and depth of experience. He has worked in firms locally for some 18 years and is a qualified Mediator and Collaborative Lawyer. He is well known in the local area for his expertise and enthusiastic approach.
Adrian is committed to assisting his clients through the process best suited to them using his many years of experience to guide clients through their case in a caring and committed way.
As well as assisting clients with their separations, divorces and children’s issues, Adrian also provides assistance with challenging and defending provision in wills for both beneficiaries and executors. He has represented clients in complex and high value cases including business assets and difficult children cases.
Adrian’s approach encourages clients to consider the issues at the heart of their case and analysing the options available to find the best way forward to minimise the additional stress and anxiety that disputes create for the family and children. He believes that early advice which is robust and realistic can help clients make good decisions to move forward as cost effectively as possible. That said, where a court application is required Adrian will not shirk from issuing and pursuing proceedings in a clear and effective way, and his wide experience means that a team of other professionals including barristers and other experts are well known to Adrian and can be called upon to assist where needed.
Adrian is also a member of Dorset Resolution and the General Committee of the Bournemouth and District Law Society. He is also a member of the local Bournemouth area Mediation and Collaborative practitioner groups and has previously sat on the Dorset Family Justice Board representing lawyers in the county.
Adrian was born and raised in Surrey and attended Farnham Grammar School before undertaking a Business Law Degree in West Midlands. He has lived in Dorset for thirty years and is married. Adrian is a committed Christian and also enjoys opera singing, playing tennis and golf and quizzing outside of work.
