Alastair Hoare has recently retired from Williams Thompson and is a non-practising solicitor which means he no longer holds a practising certificate.
Alastair qualified in 1977 and after a time as a local authority solicitor joined Williams Thompson in 1982 when he took over the property work from Mr Williams and subsequently from Mr Thompson who retired a few years later. Alastair was a major force in the development of Williams Thompson over the years that followed. He retired in 2012.
In particular Alastair built a significant reputation for his hard work and knowledge in all aspects relating to property from residential property matters to commercial leasing and residential property development and during his time with Williams Thompson he acted for a number of sizable developers and businesses, some with a national presence.
Although Alastair has retired from the practice, he lives very close to Williams Thompson’s offices and is still available to provide us with advice and support when required.
We are happy to continue to act for his many clients.
